Flower Care

Please follow these tips to ensure the longest vase life for your flowers.

After receiving your flowers unwrap them over the sink. Trim 1/2 inch off the stem on an angle. This improves flower hydration.  

*All parts of the wrapping are compostable.

Place flowers in a clean vase, filled halfway with fresh water. If the bouquet is too tall trim again to reach desired height.

*Leaving the bouquet tied will keep the bouquet in a tighter group

Make sure to remove any leaves that would be below the water line. This helps to keep water clean making it easier for flowers to hydrate.

Place flowers away from direct sunlight and heat. Avoid placing flowers near ripe fruit or vegetables. Doing this can speed up the rate flowers will open, shortening your flowers vase life.

Change water every 1-2 days and trim stems as needed. Fresh water actual helps prolong vase life better then flower food.

Remove any wilted blooms or greenery as they occur to prolong the life of the other flowers.  Don't forget to appreciate your flowers everyday.
